Six‑point type. Pharmacy shorthand. Wrapped around a bottle.
Glyph reads it.
Point your phone at the label. 1 TAB PO BID C FOOD X14D is read by AI into 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. with food for two weeks, with reminders, and a schedule you can share with whoever's holding the leash.
in under a minute, from any pharmacy, in any format. No typing the sig.
before anything is saved. Unsure fields are flagged, not guessed.
not on a server. Airplane mode, dead zones, still fires.
A curved label never fits in one frame. So Glyph walks around it.
A bottle label bends away from the camera at both edges. Glossy ones catch the light. The far side of a 2‑inch vial is out of focus while the near side is sharp. As you sweep the phone across the bottle, Glyph fires the shutter several times, each frame catching the slice of label that is facing the lens. It reads the text in every frame on the device and then reconciles them: where frames disagree, the reading that appears most often wins, and the field is marked as less certain.
- Burst, not a snapshot. Several frames from slightly different angles, taken while you sweep.
- Text is read on your phone. Only the text goes to our server to be structured. Photos stay on the device and are not stored.
- Structured by AI. The text from every frame goes to a language model that knows pharmacy shorthand. SID, BID, q8h, PO, PRN, "x14d" become plain words and clock times, whatever the pharmacy's label format.
- Doubt is shown, not hidden. A field that read differently across frames, or didn't appear at all, comes up amber for you to check.
Read by AI. Confirmed by you.
Every pharmacy prints labels differently, and every vet writes directions their own way. Pattern‑matching breaks on the second clinic. So Glyph hands the label text to a language model that understands prescriptions: it separates the drug from the strength, the dose from the frequency, a loading phase from the maintenance dose, and gives each field a confidence score.
What the AI does
- Turns label text into fields: drug, strength, dose, how often, how long, refills, with‑food, prescriber
- Expands shorthand and computes the course length from quantity and frequency
- Tells medication from supplement by the cues on the label
- Scores its own confidence per field, so doubt shows up amber
What it never does
- Save anything without your confirmation
- Suggest, change, or calculate a dose
- Give medical advice or interactions
- Train on your pet's data
The model runs on our servers (Anthropic's Claude via our proxy), never on the photo: only the text read on your phone is sent, and it is not stored after the response. Details in the privacy policy.
Labels are written for pharmacists. Schedules are for people at 7 a.m.
Glyph takes several frames of the label, reconciles them, and turns the abbreviations into a plan you can act on.

A caregiver can
- See today's and this week's doses for the pets you share
- Mark a dose given, or undo it
- See the medication name, dose, instructions, vet and clinic
- Be in more than one household (a walker with several clients)
- Leave at any time
A caregiver can't

- Change a dose, a time, or an end date
- See your other pets, or pets in households they aren't in
- Invite anyone else
- Get reminders on their own phone (coming after launch)
Remove someone from Profile → Household and their access ends immediately. If you delete your account, your household goes with it and caregivers simply stop seeing your pets.
Glyph reads labels. It doesn't prescribe. It never changes a dose, never suggests one, and never gives medical advice. It's for medications and supplements a veterinarian prescribed or recommended for an animal in your care, and you confirm that each time you save one.
